Many modern compositions are very strenuous to play when written in the high register, which can be performed more effectively by using a C trumpet. Widely used in chamber playing because of the singing tone quality. Large bore models are most commonly used in symphonic settings. Available in two bore sizes (ML, L). Optional slides available to tune to Bb.
